I've been training animals since 1997 — starting with marine mammals and exotic animals before focusing exclusively on dogs.
Chris played a pivotal role in launching and leading the dog training program at the Shedd Aquarium, where he honed his skills training a wide variety of animals. For the past decade, he's focused exclusively on dogs and developing expertise in addressing reactive behaviors. Chris is a CPDT-KA Certified Professional Dog Trainer, running 20-30 reactive walks/training sessions a week — over 100 on a busy month.
In 2008, Chris founded The Dog Saving Network (DSN), an organization committed to raising awareness about homeless animals and promoting positive training methods. Through DSN, he produced "Life's Ruff," a live performance showcasing regular dogs and their owners competing in a game-show format — with owners doing all the training themselves.
Chris resides in Orland Park, IL, with his wife, two daughters, and rescued pup, Emma.
